West Nile legend to perform in Juba
The West Nile music legend, JM Kennedy has confirmed his performance in Juba city this Friday at Secret Corner while Mask Bar and Bistro scheduled it for Saturday.
In an interview with Juba Monitor, Kennedy said it has been long time without seeing his fans in Juba saying this yarning is cut short as he will be in Juba on Friday.
“We will be dancing together at Juba’s finest clubs,” the singer promised.
The Ugandan artist who hails from Kasese District will be supported by local artists such as Young Kevin, Super X, Riko-Riko, Young40, De Boss and other surprising curtain raisers.
However, JM Kennedy said he expects massiveness attendance with the spirit of togetherness, lovely concert as the fans intend to enjoy quality music.
“Juba is my second city, so I expect to dance with my brothers and sisters again, since it has been a long time,” JM Kennedy said.
The singer has a huge fan base in residential areas such as Rock City, Gudele, Gumbo and Custom.
Munduri Gloria, a vendor in Gumbo said she has saved enough to party with JM Kennedy.
Gloria said although the economic crisis is hitting hard, she has saved some little money to enable her attend the JM Kennedy show in Juba.
For Sam Adrikos who hails from West Nile; Arua District and currently works as a taxi conductor in Juba, his attendance is a must.
