Vote Single D to participate inAfrimusic Song Contest

The about to go down singer Single D is appealing to the entire country to vote for him in the Afrimusic song contest.

Single D through his latest song slow motion was selected for the Afrimusic Song Contest on the 12th of March 2019 alongside other talented artists from Congo, Rwanda and Malawi.

Single D told Juba Monitor yesterday that as a requirement for acceptance in the contest, artists should get the support of their home based fans.

He said all South Sudanese should vote for him so that he can be chosen for the finalof Afrimusic Song Contest that will take place in Italy.

According to Single D, he stated that he would not represent himself but the entire nation once he is voted for by the country.

“Wining Afrimusic contest will be the pride of the nation not me. I stand for my country and that is why I am calling upon everyone to vote for me so that we bring the award home and show the world that South Sudan has talent,” Single D said.

Single D is in the Central East African countries category where he is competing with artists from Congo, Rwanda and Malawi.

Through his YouTube channel,Single D said voting has already started, but he urged everyone to vote for him.

He said while voting online, his name will appear under South Sudan.

“Some people might think that this contest is only for me. Now it is for the entire country. If I win it would be for South Sudan, so I wish everyone can vote so that we win,”Single D emphasized.

The voting for the Afrimusic Song Contest on their official website will end on the 25th of this Month.

Rapper Y Jang who accompanied Single also called upon the country at large to vote for South Sudan in the Afrimusic Song Contest.

“My fellow countrymen/women let us all vote and make South Sudan proud, we should convince those who don’t believe in us by voting,” J Yang said.

Single D is the only South Sudanese artist who applied for the contest and was selected to represent the country.
