U-20 wins third warm Up Match in Buluk

Bright Stars U-20 National Team won their third back to back game against 2019 South Sudan Cup Champion Al-Rabbita FC 4:2. Two quick first half goals from Daniel Lual Gumnok and Wijo Taban in the 2 and 16 respectively put Coach Simon James Yor side in control of the game.
Rabbita FC pulled late goal through Kun Joseph in the 23 minute and an own goal from under-20 defender Agustin Akoch late into first half put Rabbita FC labeled after well-placed cross from the left wing. Bright Stars responded quickly before end of first half with a thunderous shot from Data Joseph Stephen to end the first half 3:2.
Coach Ramsey Sebit Lomoro’s side, Al-Rabbita FC looks threatening in second half after his counterpart substituted his entre starting eleven but could not capitalize on the chances created. In the 74 minutes Innocent Ronald Media scored the fourth goal for U-20 to earn the much needed results for Simon James’s side.
The Bright Stars won their first preparatory match against Amarat United on the 26th October 2020 2:0 and 3:2 against Ribbita.
The bright Stars are in their earl stage of preparation for CECAFA regional tournament for next month which will be hosted by Tanzania. Yesterday CECAFA released the grouping for this year tournament where South Sudan is pooled in group B alone side Uganda, Eritrea and Burundi. The tournament is expected to kick off on the 22nd November to 06th December.
