Tobiolo made the remark while addressing the residents of Nimule Town Council last week.
He added that conflict would not develop the country but only peace that benefits the people.
“We must have permanent peace in Torit State and make sure we maintain it for the benefit of everyone. With peace we will achieve a lot for the coming generations,” Tobiolo said.
Torit State Governor reiterated that his state will continue to live in peace because they do not want the future of the children to be in jeopardy.
Tobiolo vowed to promote cross border security dialogue to ensure lasting peace in Nimule and entire Torit State.
“I appeal to the security organs to apprehend criminals and bring them to book so that they don’t spoil the peace of other people,” Tobiolo said.
