Taban Lee requests to quit Amarat United

By Yol Isaac

It is not the first time he has tried to force through a move, in 2014, Taban asked to leave the club to join Munuki FC, “if it’s not done, I would lose and the club would too.” I am keen to join any top team here in Juba whether a division 1 or division 2 team, I would like to play my best and be happy, “Football is all about happiness” the player said.

The right back has appeared to confirm his future will be out with Amarat United this Season after a post on facebook

The right back has been linked with a move to top club with Amarat United Coach William Mayor looking to make changes to his squad this season but Taban Lee has seemingly put a dent into the claims he’ll be leaving by posting a picture of himself training ahead of the new season.

Along with picture, he wrote, “I’m interested to join a team that will be interested in signing me.” It has been a longtime in Amarat United but I have to say bye to my colleagues and the club, I will miss the club but I have to go and enjoy football somewhere this season.

The 23-year-old is clearly keen to fight for his place in a new team in Juba Local football League and will look to prove those who have doubted him wrong.
