Super Stars thrash City Corps 6-3 in Yei Premier League
Luzira Super Stars thrashed City Corps 6-3 in the Yei Premier league held yesterday. Super Stars captain, Anyole Daniel Mabe opened the score line with a superb header then Mujaid Said netted a brace before City Corps striker Mokili scored a penalty. Super Stars play-maker Juma Kennedy scored a hat-trick then City Corps forward Sijali braced the score for his team just before halftime. The game ended 6-3 in favour of Super Stars. 17 years old Juma Kennedy was the man of the match after scoring a hat-trick and assisting twice.
Speaking to Juba Monitor after the game, Steven Anyole Mabe, the Captain of Super Stars said the game was very important for them to extend its lead on the table.
“After winning our first game against Nasir FC, we had to win our second game to create a gap on top of the premier league table; I would like to thank the whole team for their best performance against City Corps. And also thank our senior player Ramadan Bullen, who returned from Juba to participate in this league,” Anyole added.
Super Stars are leading on top of the Yei premier league table with six points and five goals after playing two games.
