Stafford International University College in Partnership with CADD Centre training Services PVT Company limited have established a Centre of excellence for information technology to equip Students especially undergraduates and graduates with practical knowledge towards career development.
Speaking to Juba Monitor yesterday, Dium Cyer Cyer Deng, the founder and the chairperson of Stafford Board of Director said that the University signed a memorandum of understanding with the company aiming to equip students with advanced computer knowledge to enable them to cope with the current world of technology where everything has been simplified through the use of machines.
‘’We have signed a memorandum of understanding 2021 with CADD Centre on the establishment of Centre of Excellence for information and technology aimed at embarking undergraduate Students of Stafford International University College with digital computer Knowledge for absolute societal transformation into the world of technology’’ Dium said
Dium added that information technology in the world of today has been regarded as key to development through simplification of workload thus, all undergraduates including graduates who might have attained Bachelors in various should undergo practical advance IT training in order to acquire knowledge.

Furthermore, Dium reiterated that having brought CADD Centre would help South Sudan improve its level of technology to meet the standard of other advanced Countries in the World.
He underscored that without technology, Countries would not experience any advancement towards development.
However, Dium said that Stafford International University College on the 28th -3-2022 would be shifted to its newly constructed site since they have incurred in cumulative payment of rent running small capacity of halls to accommodating the students.
‘’On the 28th -3-2022, we shall be shifting the University to its New site in order to start a new academic journey since we have been paying the high cost of rent yet running small capacity of land and aimed to add other faculties’’ He said
In his part, Ashok Kumar, the Managing Director for CAAD Centre said that the company was a skilled based focused on training people in areas related to their field of specialisation for instance management courses, banking and finance.
‘’Our Company is a new technology entry to South Sudan in associate with Stafford University College focused mainly on training graduates and undergraduates the use of Information technology in areas related to their field of academics’’
Furthermore, he said that the company was a global skill-based company focused at equipping people with high technology knowledge in various areas of academics to pave way to employment.
He said that the initiative would be extended to other Universities that were willing to involve in such programmes to boost practical computer knowledge.
Ashok said that they have so far met Catholic University, University of Juba and discussed the mandate of the company in the Country
