One killed in Wun Aliet Cantonment site

At least one SPLA-IO soldier has been shot dead by his colleague at Wun Aliet Cantonment site.
According to anonymous source on the ground, the deceased was apparently on a visit from another Cantonment site.
“When the colleagues told the deceased to put his gun down, he refused but the area commander resolved the matter,” the person said.
The sources said after a short while an officer based at the Wud Aliet shot the deceased on the chest.
The assailant has been apprehended for further investigation.
When asked about the incident, Lam Paul Gabriel Deputy SPLA-IO military spokesman said, “I heard about the news but it is really very difficult.Let me get the details I am still following the details on what really happened.”
The Revitalized Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in South Sudan (R-ARCSS) signed on September 12th, 2018 states that all the forces must be in barracks and cantoned.
