Maridi Service Agency (MSA) besides sponsorship program, does teachers capacity building targeting Secondary School teachers and Nursery School teachers, Established and manages 01 Secondary School and 02 Community Nursery Schools. We promote girls education through massive awareness and advocacy with the authorities to reduce on the cases of early and forced marriages and teenage pregnancy.
However, in our efforts to promote Girls Education and promote quality Education to all, MSA faces challenges as:
- Limited resources as the demand for our services particularly support to Schools and Scholarship program is high. MSA has received a lot of request for support from Schools and communities but we can’t due to limited resources.
- Girls in Secondary Schools demand and request MSA to support them with Dignity Kits (Sanitary packages) which affects their education so much as many can’t afford from the market.
Our Education program is currently supported by Christian World Service (CWS) Newzealand. CWS as well support and fund our livelihoods project that empowers IDP women through small business skills trainings and start up capitals. Thanks to CWS for these support to the vulnerable communities in South Sudan.
MSA is a legally registered civil Society Organization registered at national level with its headquarters in Maridi and coordinating offices in Juba and Yei. Its core programs include Education, HIV /AIDS and Sexual Reproductive Health, Livelihood, Protection, Governance and Media
