Lobong dismisses road accident rumors

The former governor of the defunct Kapoeta state Louis Lobong Lojore has dismissed the rumors of car accident circulating against him.

It is almost one week since the information about Lobong getting involved in a car accident has been circulating on the social media. The rumors circulating claimed that Lobong got an accident while on his trip to Torit.

Speaking to Juba Monitor in an exclusive, Lobong said he has never got any accident, “I am in good health in my residence in Juba.”

“I have forgiven those people who wish others evil and I pray to God to send the Holy Spirit to their hearts,” he said.

Lobong confirmed that he came across the rumors but said he had not traveled anywhere. “I am in my house in Juba, there are people who are wishing others evils,” he said.

Louis urged the people of Eastern Equatoria to remain calm and preach about peace and as well as to follow health directives measures against Covid-19 pandemic.

He added it was time to fight backwardness in the country and state so as to develop like other countries

“I tell the people of Eastern Equatoria that I love you so much, let them remain calm, let them observe the health directives on the issues of Covid-19 and  let them preach about peace,” Lobong said.

“We need to fight backwardness to develop our country and our state Eastern equatorial so that we become like other people in other countries,” he added.
