Lazy people face dry season

He who enjoys sleeping will at the end suffer from hunger during dry season because he has no grains in his granary. That is why in our cultures as South Sudanese, nearly everyone takes his tools to the garden and cultivate, especially in different villages. But the lazy ones receive insults during harvest time.
Our society has brave young men and women who can cultivate and grow food for them but laziness is on their hands and legs.
Even technology has helped in making work easy in Agriculture but many youths want ready-made things. The question is, who produces the things they are consume?
Laziness takes people nowhere. In fact, they end up in starvation, poverty and diseases without treatment due to their unproductivity.
They must know that their laziness is holding the country back. When they stand up, use their creative minds, energy and available resources, they stabilize their lives, that of their families, communities and the country in general.
If anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he will never escape poverty.
A lazy person always has excuses. He would say there is no land for growing crops, no rain, no crops and no farming tools. The people to whom he talks to can be convinced but it is none of their business because at the end the lazy liar will be suffering.
What does the Bible have to say about work? It tells us that God Himself was a worker during His creation. And continuously He gave the power, knowledge and wisdom to humans such that they continue building the World.
The first human was cursed to toil the land and sweat to get food.
The creative worker sends His humans to work and make the World beautiful. It is then an expectation out of everyone to do his part to make sure, the creation continues. If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.
Do all things without gambling for the gamblers do not succeed in life. Without sweat you will not have something ready on the table. So why be among the lazy ones?
You have eyes, legs, hands and brains, which are the resources that you can use to prosper. People who make use of their gifts are successful in life. They don’t wait, from where they are and with what they have, they begin working hard.
If you see others siting and enjoying luxuriously, don’t try to be like them because you never know what journey they have walked, you don’t know what challenges they faced up to now.
Mind your own affairs and to work with your hands that you eat the fruits of your own actions. And whatever you do, in word or deed, you must do it with passion and vision and if you succeed keep giving thanks to God. Do not be lazy, but if you find idleness favoring then you will at the end face the consequence of the dry season.
