KAMPALA, Kiir, Machar meeting today

President Salva Kiir and the Opposition leader Dr. Riek Machar are expected to meet in the Ugandan capital Kampala today.
Speaking to Juba Monitor in an exclusive interview, the Presidential spokesperson Ateny Wek Ateny confirmed the meeting saying President Kiir would be travelling to Kampala today to discuss the future of the implementation of the Revitalized Peace Agreement.
“It is tripartite summit between Khartoum, Kampala and Juba and for the IGAD meeting the stakeholders, representatives will go to Addis Ababa from Kampala,” Ateny said.
The Director of Information for SPLM-IO Puok Both Baluang confirmed Dr. Riek’s readiness to attend the third “Face to Face” meeting expected in Kampala.
He said their team after the meeting in Kampala shall immediately head to Addis Ababa to attend the IGAD led meeting of the parties to the R-ARCSS.
