This came following the dissolution order by Jubek State Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture, however officials of Juba City Chamber of Commerce has rejected the order and they described the order as “unanimously objected “because Juba City Chamber is a separate entity.
Speaking to journalists yesterday, Representative of Juba City Chamber of Commerce in the General Assembly, Kamsur Sulei Nyata said that Juba City Chamber of Commerce industry and Agriculture is a separate entity with its general assembly as a supreme authority that cannot be dissolved by Jubek State Chamber.
“Juba City Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture members are not the registered member of Jubek State Chamber of commerce. South Sudan national chamber of commerce constitution 2010 dissolution can only be applied for dissolution of its chamber but not any other chamber,” said Nyata.

“The relationship between Juba City Chamber of Commerce and Jubek State Chamber of commerce is a coordination relationship but not administrative as such Jubek State has no authority over city chamber,” said Nyata.
Meanwhile, Chairperson of Juba City Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture, Marcello Swaka Lako said that markets sub officers of Juba City Chamber within Juba City jurisdiction should continue with their normal duties and responsibilities and he ordered that market should remain open.
“Juba City Chamber general assembly is in total support of its executive and it should continue with their official duties and responsibilities as usual,” said Swaka.
However, last week Jubek State Chamber of commerce accused Juba City Chamber over what they described as total interference into Jubek Chamber of Commerce activities as private sector in the State.
The Chairperson for Chamber of Commerce Jubek State, Cosmas Tombe Wani said authority have been interfering with chamber’s mandates.
