At least four people have been killed in an attack in Abieicok of Gok State on Monday.
Zachariah Riak Mathen, Acting Speaker of Gok State Legislative Assembly told Juba Monitor that it was a revenge attack.
Mathen added that the state Governor including the county Commissioner rushed to the scene to calm the tension.
However, the continued clashes between the Panawur and Panaguong sections have claimed lives of four chiefs since 2014.
Mathen called on both communities to stop revenge attack and give chance for the law to take its course.
“We are urging both sides to cease revenge killing immediately since it is finishing people,” he said.
