Final preparations and arrangements are being put in place today in both Juba and Kampala before the body of late Alfred Taban Logune is flown home.
This morning the congregations in Kampala are conducting a Holy mass at St. John Parish of Church of Uganda [CoU] to pay their last tribute before his body is flown off to Juba tomorrow.
However, late Taban’s body is expected to arrive in Juba on Thursday morning.
Earlier Aggrey Tisa Sabuni, the chairperson of the organizing committee said after the landing of the plane at the Juba International Airport in the morning, the body would be taken to his home at Juba Monitor premises and later to All Saints Cathedral before taking to parliament for public viewing.
He said on Saturday morning, the body would be airlifted using a military chopper to Kajo-Keji for burial.
