Female officers urged fellows to join police

Female police officers marched in Aweil streets on Friday to encouragetheir young fellow women in the community who are willing to join the police force.
The event followed a workshop of the police which was conducted through phone call under the theme:“Raise confidence and aspiration levels of women.”
Speaking to Juba Monitor, the Police Spokesperson of Northern Bahr-el-Ghazal Capt. Guot Guot Akol said that the marching was meant to raisemoralsamong the young female police officers and the publicwhich would build confidence and aspiration for those who want to join.
“It was just to encourage the young females to join the police and also to build morals and confidence and aspiration among the young female police officers,’’ said Capt. Akol.
He also stated that there was a great assurance that women could deliver good services to the community.
