Bright Stars Ready for Uganda-Amin

The president of South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) said the national team, the Bright Stars, is ready to face Uganda Cranes in the CHAN competition on Friday (tomorrow) at Juba Stadium at 4:30 local time.

Francis Amin Michael said he is confident that the Bright stars will win the match tomorrow due to their commitment in training and also the commitment of the coaching staff.

“We are ready for the match, we visited the players today and they really show a lot of moral. The team is ready for the match including the technical staff.”

“I trust they (Bright Stars) will win the game tomorrow. I am just urging them to implement what the coach, Bilal Felix is teaching them,” Amin told Juba Monitor yesterday at the SSFA head office.

Amin urged the fans to turn up early to give moral to the national team, saying south Sudanese should come together and stand behind the team.

“The citizens should come closer to football and use it as a tool to reconcile among each other, especially the youths. We need peace and harmony to improve football in the country,” Amin said.

He thanked the Community Empowerment for Progress Organization, (CEPO) a civil society organization for contributing an amount of 1000 USD to the Association on Tuesday, urging the business communities to continue supporting the association. Amin also thanked Korea Mission and Luke for contributing Suits and T-shirts for the team respectively.

The first league of the qualifiers will be played tomorrow, Friday 14th July, 2017 at Juba Stadium at 4.30 pm local time.
