BRIGHT STARS OFF TO KIGALI BUT SSFA MUST BE WARNED

We are happy for the Bright Stars after our appeal to the public to come out and raise funds to the Burundi continental match assignment this Saturday; they are privileged to honor their mission, courtesy of good Samaritans who came out to make the Kigali trip a success. The boys under the command of the National Coach, Bilal Felix are in high gear and training since Monday at the Juba National Stadium. The country should remain happy and committed to supporting our own boys to the win. This is not for Bright Stars alone; it is a National assignment which brings the whole country together. Those who have come out to support the team are commended and should remain having this national heart. The country was at a standstill when news broke out that the team could not be able to travel to the African Cup of Nation tournament against Burundi in Kigali. Saturday was so near for any expected transport and accommodation for the squad. But as it is the mighty work miracles and the result is now out with the team training ready to represent the country. This kind of a resolved situation should be an eye opener to the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA). They should ensure in making their docket firm and secure from manipulation and other ills. The story went short of laying on the table the truth. Fingers were pointing at the last administration that seems to have heard glue fingers in the association’s coffer. This is notwithstanding, the current leadership should have done and should be prepared to do so in future, early plan of action should be in the back of their minds. They should not wait until the last minute come out with possible failure of such important national take. Unless they want this country to hold them responsible. For now let us join hands together and wish our team success in Burundi on Saturday. Let us continue our moral and material support to them and sports in general.
