He said they will put aside all the pending issues and continue with normal cooperation.

“I am optimistic that by tomorrow we will finalize the agreement and put that aside so that we continue with our normal cooperation with UNMISS and all UN agencies in the country,” Makuei said.

Stephen Mathias, the Assistance Secretary General for legal affairs said that the meeting was intensive and friendly.

“We have discussed elements of possible agreement and we have agreed to come back to see which elements to be signed with the government,” Mathias said.

Managing Director of the Media authority, Elijah Alier Kuai said several notifications for registration were given of which there was no respond by the management of Radio Miraya.

The media authority warned the public not to interact with radio Miraya. The Staff were burned from coverage.
