The Biggest exits so far in the South Sudan Cup

In Juba, Al Hilal FC lost to Rainbow FC on Thursday last week on penalty shootouts. Al Hilal were the defending champions of the South Sudan Cup in Juba. Hilal were supposed to represent South Sudan in the Total CAF Confederations Cup this year but they could not travel.

Al Hilal FC is one of the teams the Confederation of African Football (CAF) eliminated from participating in the continental competitions after failing to show up for their matches of the first leg of the preliminary round of the Champions League and Confederation Cup in February.

Al Salam Wau and Hilal Juba failed to show up in their scheduled games CAF Champions League 2018 and Confederations Cup. Al Salam Wau were due to face Saint George of Ethiopia in the Total CAF Champions League 2018 in Addis Ababa, while Hilal Juba were scheduled to play US Ben Guerdane of Tunisia in the Total CAF Confederations Cup on Saturday.

The tournament is in the round of sixteen already in Juba. While in Bor the finals between Koryom FC and Kush FC could not be played on Saturday due to a fight that ensued prior to the match.

In Yei the Champions of the Yei Premier league, Dream FC, were knocked out in the round of sixteen by second division side Easter FC last week. Initially, Black 04 also lost to Nasir FC who were drawn against. On form City Corps FC.
