Taban’s body to arrive on Thursday

The outstanding medical bills of Alfred Taban have been secured and preparation of the body to be brought to the country is ongoing at a funeral home in Kampala, Aggrey Tisa Sabuni, chairperson of the organizing committee revealed yesterday. said.
According to Sabuni who is the Presidential Advisor on Economic Affairs, the body of the late Alfred Taban Logune will be transported by air on Thursday to Juba. Only four people will accompany the body on flight.
Mr. Sabuni briefed mourners at the deceased home in Juba yesterday.
He said that after the plane landed at the Juba International Airport in the morning, the body will be taken to his home at Juba Monitor premises along Airport Road and later to All Saints Cathedral near Mobil round about before being taken to Parliament for public viewing on Friday.
On Saturday morning, the body will be airlifted using a military chopper to Kajo Keji for burial.
Mr. Sabuni further said that those who will accompany the body to Kajo-Keji from Juba will go by road. He also advised mourners in Kampala to go direct to Kajo-keji to minimize long journey and cost.
At the same time while briefing mourners, Professor Taban Loliyong, the late Alfred’s uncle thanked the First Vice President Taban Deng Gai who had earlier visited the family for standing with them at the time of need.
The Governor of Jubek State, Augustino Wani Jadallah also sent out his condolences through the state Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries, James Janka Duku, who is also the deputy chairperson of the organizing committee for the late’s funeral.
