South Sudan Cup Yei: Easter FC beat Dream FC 2-0.

The South Sudan Cup has taken a totally different dimension with big clubs being knockout of the South Sudan Cup.
Yesterday Dream FC, the Champions of Yei Premier Legue lost to Easter FC by two goals to nil. Thanks to goals from James Magar and Hassan Abukalam.
Speaking to Juba Monitor on phone after the match, Easter FC’s head Coach, John Kenyi, commonly known as Benge, said he was delighted with the outcome of the match given the fact that they (Easter FC) went to the game as underdogs.
“It was a hard game but I am glad that we won the match, ”Benge said.
“We knew that Dream Fc are the champions of Yei, so we hard to work hard since the South Sudan cup is a knockout.”
He said the boys hard put all their efforts in order to win the tough fixture.
“We put all our efforts to overcome the champions,” Coach Benge added.
He asked all the fans of Easter Fc to always stand behind the team, saying without their moral busting, the players would not have won the game.
Dream FC were already nominated by various sports analysts as the favorites to win the cup, being the defending champions.
On Sunday Mahad FC lost to Salam FC by two goals to nil and on Saturday, City Corps beat newly formed Reconcile football club 6-0 to advance to the next round of the ongoing South Sudan Cup in Yei River state.
Rainbow and Black 04 are the other two big teams to quit the cup in Yei.
