Lil Beezy has secured a historic collaboration with Tanzanian Bongo music superstar Diamond Platnumz.
The Kampala-based artist scheduled the milestone collabo with the Wasafi Records Founder in December this year.
“Yes, it’s true that I have secured a collaboration with one of the world’s best artists famously known as Diamond Platnumz. We have set December 2019 as a month for collabo to happen,” said Lil Beezy.
Lil Beezy, also known as War Child said he is working on the song that he will feature Diamond and the song will be about the beauty of Africa and in particular South Sudan.
“Our song will be focusing on the beauty of Africa and my main center is South Sudan. Through the song we will show the world the beauty of my motherland, the wild life, the water, the culture and the people.
“We are more than what the world thinks of us and we want to put it all in the song,” Lil Beezy said.
Diamond Platnumz was reached through his official page for comments about his collaboration with the Lil Beezy but did not reply.
If all goes according to plan, Lil Beezy will be the first South Sudanese artist to work with Diamond who is currently a music firebrand on the global scale.
The relations between South Sudanese artists and Tanzania’s stars are improving gradually and it all started with the ‘Gwondo Sakit’ hit maker John Frog managing to do a remix with Harmonize of Tanzania, who was under Wasafi Records by then.
‘Gwondo Sakit’ remix is still topping music charts in both Tanzania and South Sudan.
