Tanzanian music sensation Harmonize landed yesterday at Juba International Airport ahead of his performance at the highly billed The Space Lounge and Restaurant grand opening slated for Saturday.

K2, the music promoter who is responsible for this show broke the news to bring the award winning Wasafi star early this year but the show was postponed because the construction of the Lounge was not yet complete.

Harmonize will be joined by other East African music heavyweights and singing brothers Jose Chameleone and Weasel who will both perform at the grand opening on Saturday. Chameleone and his brother will land today ahead of the Show tomorrow.

At the airport, Harmonize was welcomed by a crowd of fans who turned up to watch the superstar at the international airport. Some Tanzanians in Juba did not want to be left-out fan as they too showed up at the airport to welcome and show some love to their countryman.

One of them only known as Sandra could not hide her excitement.

“I am very excited that Harmonize will be here not just for us the Tanzanians but for all of us including the South Sudanese,” she said. “We expect fire from him as you know what Wasafi does,” she boasted in reference to Diamond Platinumz’s star studded record label.

Sandra was joined by other Tanzanians including one elderly looking lady who says age is just a number. She said she will make sure she does not miss out on the show come Saturday night.

The Konde Boy as he likes to call himself will be the first Tanzanian artiste to perform in South Sudan.
